iWorkPMS - System Basics

Through the use of computer system, iWorkPMS helps to simplify the complexity of manual operations, reduce human errors and enhance efficiency.

Industrial Engineering

iWorkPMS can be used in Industrial Engineering to design a production flow which perfectly balances labour, material and equipment to minimize cost and maximize profit.

iWorkPMS makes use of important data (worker, job, style, color, size, quantity, start time, end time…) to work out a system that has a smooth flow of material while maximizing the value added activities of each worker, to achieve full utilization of production facilities and labour force, and to ensure highest productivity.

  • Time Standard Setting and Analysis

Makes use of historical data to set measurable time standards. Compares planned time standard (SAM standard average minutes) with the actual time taken to complete a job, helps to analyse the effectiveness of estimation.

  • Workers’ Skill Database

Compiles workers’ skill database to help in resource allocation.

  • Non-Productive Time Identification

Identifies non-productive time such as machine breakdown / setup time, material handling, waiting, correction and so on, helps in planning ahead to ensure smooth production flow, and reduces set-up time.

  • Critical Path Scheduling

Identifies the time needed for each step from raw materials to finished goods. Creates critical path and workflow diagram which enable to reduce or eliminate non-value added activities, thus shorten the Total Product Cycle Time.

  • Worker Assignment

Reduces trial and error situations, helps in labour division and assigns proper number of workers per step. It enables systematically matching labour skills with machinery, achieves maximum utilization of skilled and/or unskilled labour, solves load balancing issues, and increases efficiency level.

Job Order Maintenance

It allows inputting each job’s basic information such as job order number, date, sales order number, style, quantity etc. Each job order can be edited according to the order number, production process, work procedure description etc.

Cutting Order Maintenance

It allows to add, modify and delete the Cutting order details. It can automatically generate production bundle numbers according to the sizes, colours and quantities, as well as calculates the total number of cutting pieces.

RFID Ticket Management

After completing the Job order and Cutting order information, the system instantly proceeds for ticket printing. The RFID ticket includes details like quantity, size, style, production steps, unit costs etc. The system can handle as much as 999 individual production processes to meet the different needs of all users. There are a number of pre-defined standard ticket formats for users for choose from, users can also define the format by themselves.
