What is netGarment?
netGarment is an end-to-end management software specially designed for the apparel trading and manufacturing industry in accordance with its unique operation processes starting from sampling to final shipment. Through the internet-based platform, netGarment is built to tackle the needs of globalization in the apparel industry and the cross-country production management setups.
If your company needs a comprehensive and affordable system to smoothly synchronize front and back office business functions, improve operational efficiency with optimal utilization of resources across the enterprises, netGarment is the right choice.
Does netGarment offer a free trial period? How to test the system?
We do not provide free trial period as without proper training, users may have wrong perception about the system. Though netGarment is easy and quick to deploy, you will need our professionals to help setting up and implementing the system. You can, however, try to use the system with our help during the product demo, or set up another time with our consultants for system testing or even benchmarking.

How is netGarment priced?
If you choose to go with netGarment Cloud Service / SaaS, all you need is to pay for an initial setup fee and a monthly subscription fee. Please contact our sales representative for details.

Why do netGartment's customers have to pay for the initial setup fee?
The initial setup fee is to cover our technical and service costs involved, and to share the Internet Data Center hardware cost. Whenever there is a new user or new module to be added, new settings and configuration are required. The initial setup fee is charged only once.
Is there any periodical contract required?
No, iGarment intends to provide the most flexibility for our customers, there is no long-term binding. All you need is to pay the setup fee and 2 months deposit to activate the system, a 2 months notice to terminate the service.
Can I purchase the system after subscribing to the service for some while?
Although not recommended, you can still purchase the system whenever you want. Please talk to our sales representative for details. Please note that ongoing software upgrading and maintenance will not be included if you purchase the system.
How many user licenses do I need? What is the average license number of your existing customers?
For every module, 2 concurrent user licenses are included. The number of concurrent users refers to the total number of people using the system at the same time, but you can install the system for as many users as needed. That means, if you have subscribed to 5 modules, there will be 10 concurrent user licenses, 10 users can operate via the system at the same time. These concurrent user licenses are not limited to certain users, they can be shared among the company staff. The system is also equipped with an "auto log-off" function, if a user does not use the system for a certain time (to be defined by yourself), he/she will be automatically logged-off and release the account to other users. According to our experience, the user licenses you need will be around half the number of your company staff.
Technical Questions
What is the software requirement needed to run netGarment? / What facilities the users should have?
If you choose to go with netGarment Cloud Service / SaaS, the only software you need is Windows, and of course, you need to have internet access.
How do I access the netGarment application?
Regardless where you are, all netGarment information is accessible through internet once you have installed a netGarment client program.
How quickly can I deploy the software / how long to implement the system?
netGarment is built using state-of-the-art programming languages to ensure simplicity. Gone are the days when your company would spend months budgeting and planning to deploy a management system, netGarment can be deployed in weeks. Talk to our consultants to set up the most appropriate implementation plan.
How long the user will have a parallel run with the existing system?
It differs from company to company. Our consultant will help you to set up the most appropriate time frame to migrate data from your existing system to netGarment during the implementation period.
What is the requirement of communication line to run netGarment?
It depends on the number of users and the usage of internet for other applications such as email, etc. A safe guideline of bandwidth requirement is an effective 384K for 5 netGarment users.
The 2.0GB initial data capacity included with netGarment subscription is insufficient, especially if I have sketches and attachments. What if I need more than 2.0GB data capacity?
For many SMEs, 2.0GB data capacity is enough. Our product is priced at the most reasonable level to avoid customers paying for something they do not need. Nevertheless, you can always increase the data capacity if needed, talk to our sales representative for the arrangement and cost.
How often is there an upgrade for new version of netGarment?
iGarment provides ongoing upgrading of software every quarter to half year depending on the new feature development. Customers are always operating on the latest version of our service.
Any modification of netGarment is allowed if we request?
Throughout the years, we have acquired deep knowledge in the industry and consolidated the suggestions and comments from our customers to develop a most comprehensive system which suits the various needs of apparel enterprises. In order to enjoy the economy of scale, we are using a multitenant architecture. The system structure is standardized to allow all users benefit from using it. Nevertheless, we are open to any suggestion, should we find it worthwhile, we will incorporate it into our system and make it standard for all users. It is not recommended to specially modify the system for you. As doing so, you will not be able to enjoy the regular software upgrades, and new features added.
Is it possible to tailor-make the formats and reports? What is the price for doing this?
Both the output format and reports can be customized. The netGarment system has defined a wide range of standard document templates for customers to choose from at free of charge. If further modification is required, it can be done at cost, please talk to our sales representative for details.
Is English the only language netGarment supports?
netGarment is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Thai and Indonesian. Deployments can have multiple languages available to your users if you are a multi-lingual organization, and each user can pick their language preference.
We have office in Hong Kong and factory in China, how to handle the Big 5 and GB exchange due to the difference in Traditional and Simplified Chinese Character?
Our system supports interchange between traditional and simplified Chinese. For data input in Traditional Chinese, the other side can view it in Simplified Chinese and vice versa.
